Epic Games Store is kicking off its Holiday Sale with a major free release. Hogwarts Legacy is available at no cost for a limited time, giving PC gamers a chance to add one of the most talked-about releases in recent years to their library.
If you have been waiting for the right moment to try it, this is it. Even if your backlog is already packed, this is the kind of free game you claim now and decide on later. It is a full RPG experience and not a short demo or trial.
This Week’s Free Epic Games Store Game
This week’s free title is Hogwarts Legacy, an open-world action RPG set in the Wizarding World during the 1800s. You attend Hogwarts as a student, learn spells, take on combat challenges, and explore both familiar and newly created locations.
The game is easy to settle into. You can stick close to the main story, spend time on side activities, or simply wander the grounds experimenting with spells. Combat moves at a steady pace and gives you room to mix attacks, defensive spells, and movement without feeling overloaded.
If you never played it, this free drop removes the biggest barrier. If you already own it elsewhere, adding the PC version to your library still makes sense.
How Long You Have to Claim It
You can claim Hogwarts Legacy for free on the Epic Games Store until December 18.
Once it is added to your library, it stays there permanently. You do not need to install it right away, which makes it easy to grab even if you do not plan to play immediately.
