This Week on Stadia: Far Cry 6, The Falconeer, AC: Rogue + Ghost Recon F2P

Today, it’s all about new games arriving on Stadia this week like The Falconeer and Assassin’s Creed Rogue available now, plus the AAA open-world shooter Far Cry 6 launching on Oct. 7. Ubisoft revealed Ghost Recon Frontline, a new free-to-play, massive PvP shooter coming to Stadia, and for the series’ 20th anniversary, free add-on content for existing games on the Stadia store.

Also a reminder - Mafia III, Control Ultimate Edition and three other games joined the 30+ title Stadia Pro library as of Oct. 1 - play them all with a free month trial to Pro.

New games launching

  • The Falconeer Available Now - An open-world air combat game. Dive into a spiraling saga of warring factions, unique side quests and narratives, and adrenaline-fueled mounts & powerful weapons as you take to the skies.
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Available Now - An extraordinary journey through New York City, the wild river valley, and far away to the icy cold waters of the North Atlantic in pursuit of revenge.
  • Far Cry 6 Available Oct. 7 - The newest entry in the open-world action adventure game from Ubisoft.  Players can work together in co-op mode throughout the entire Far Cry 6 campaign, using Stream Connect to keep a real-time view of their partner's location and actions. Feature is only available on Stadia.

Major updates & announcements

  • 60 FPS in AC: Valhalla - Ubisoft pushed out an update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to allow Stadia to deliver 60 FPS gameplay to players, alongside other changes.
  • Ubisoft reveals Ghost Recon Frontline - Coming soon as a free game on Stadia with full cross-play available at launch. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise, until Oct. 11 players can get GR Breakpoint Deep State and GR Wildlands Ultimate packs for free.
  • The Elder Scrolls Online “Blackwood” event - Until October 12, Stadia players can work together to unlock the Deadlands add-on content for free by exploring Blackwood and filling the Bounties of Blackwood meter.
