Earlier today, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it will be acquiring long-time partner of SIE, Bluepoint Games. The Austin , Texas developer is the 16th studio to join the PlayStation Studios family. With a relationship spanning more than 15 years, Bluepoint Games' most recent release was the PS5 remake of Demon’s Souls, the developers expertise in high-quality world building and character creation will aid in the development of future PlayStation Studios properties.
