Two Ubisoft games revealed for Stadia, Dawn of Ragnarok now live and news on Rainbow Six Siege

Today, in a second blog post this week, Stadia announced two Ubisoft games coming soon to the platform—Trivial Pursuit Live! and Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Discovery Tour - Viking Age. In addition, the Dawn of Ragnarök expansion for Assassins Creed Valhalla is now available and the Demon Veil season for Rainbow Six Siege arrives next week.

Let's take a closer look at what was announced today for Stadia!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarök

In Dawn of Ragnarök, Eivor must embrace their destiny as Odin, the Norse god of Battle and Wisdom. The dwarven kingdom of Svartalfheim is crumbling, and amid the chaos, Odin’s beloved son, Baldr, has been taken prisoner by the unkillable fire giant, Surtr. 

The expansion brings new features and content to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:

• Discover a fresh new gameplay system, allowing players to harness the powers of their enemies. These are the Powers, which can be used to match any gameplay style, including versatile combat and stealth options, exploration, and puzzle-solving. Players can take possession of the powers of fallen enemies and use them to shape-shift into a raven for spectacular assassinations, infuse their weapon with ice to unleash devasting strikes, or even resurrect defeated enemies to fight on their side.
• Battle and defeat new enemies, among them are the fire giants from Muspelheim: the Muspels. They provide fresh gameplay challenges and encourage players to use the Powers to tackle them efficiently.
• Explore the vast landscapes of Svartalfheim and uncover dwarven shelters that will serve as the starting point of Odin’s quest to rescue Baldr, acting as hubs for player's progression.
• Take on the Valkyries’ challenge in a new fighting arena, where players will be able to prove their combat prowess.
• Enjoy a variety of new gear and weapons, including a new unique weapon type which allows special combos, a new divine quality level for all gear, and more customization options for Eivor’s tattoos, hair, and settlement decorations.

Dawn of Ragnarök is available as a separate purchase for $49.99 CAD / $39.99 USD for all owners of the main game. All players purchasing Dawn of Ragnarök until April 9, 2022, will receive the Twilight Pack which will be immediately unlockable in the main game. This exclusive bonus includes the Dellingr's Envoy Raven Skin, the Havardr Lynx Mount, the Twilight Gear Set and the Algurnir Dane Axe Weapon.

Rainbow Six Siege's new season, Demon Veil (Year 7, Season 1)

Dive into the first season of Year 7 in Rainbow Six Siege with Demon Veil! Demon Veil adds new Operator Azami to the game's roster, with her kunai-shaped Kiba Barriers ready to provide cover from enemy fire in the heat of battle.

Demon Veil is bringing an impactful new Operator, a Team Deathmatch mode, and the Attacker Repick feature. Azami is a Defender hailing from Japan and armed with kunai-shaped Kiba Barriers. She can throw them into almost any surface and a large disc of foam will rapidly expand outward from the point of impact, creating a bulletproof barrier that can block off entry points, peek holes, or create some extra cover for her allies. 

Azami will be available at season launch through the premium track of the Demon Veil Battle Pass, and will be available for unlock two weeks after launch with Renown or R6 Credits. Here's a quick rundown of some more updates launching with Demon Veil:

• There’s a rework for Goyo that detaches his flammable canisters from his deployable shields, allowing you to strategically place the canisters on floors or walls and then shoot them when the time is right.
• All 1x sights, such as different versions of the holographic, red dot, and reflex sights, will now be universally available to all Operators.
• The Match Replay feature, which PC players are already using to analyze setups, relive highlights, and create content, is coming to consoles.
• A new verification step for the Ranked playlist will require you to link your phone number to your Ubisoft Account as part of the team’s ongoing anti-cheat efforts.
• There will be a new incentive program for reporting issues at R6fix.ubi.com.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Discovery Tour Viking Age

Discovery Tour: Viking Age is the brand-new chapter in an educational experience based on the world's developed for Assassin’s Creed. Players of all ages will learn about the history, traditions and famous people of the Viking and Anglo-Saxon worlds. For the very first time, Discovery Tour: Viking Age changes the formula by putting narrative and interactivity at the core of the experience. The two new creative pillars “History through stories” and “Learning by doing” make the experience even more memorable and engaging than previous opuses.

Following a new narrative storyline structured around eight quests, players will have the opportunity to embody Viking and Anglo-Saxon characters of the time and take part in their adventures set in the ninth century.
