Stadia mid-week news roundup: 50 claimable Stadia Pro titles, Life is Strange Remastered launches, Indie games sale and more

As of today, the Stadia Pro library has officially hit 50 titles for subscribers to claim and play with the sim-ship launches of Life Is Strange Remastered and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Remastered by Square Enix – plus five other titles being added. In addition, MotoGP 21 has launched on the Stadia store, a new Indie Game Sale is live, and new Risk of Rain 2 content is coming in Q2.

50 games in Stadia Pro library

Square Enix has simultaneously shipped both Life Is Strange Remastered and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Remastered on Stadia as on other platforms – but with Stadia, they’re free to claim and play with Stadia Pro. The narrative adventure games can be played on any device by new Stadia users who claim their free month trial of Stadia Pro at signup on Stadia.com.

Five other games have been added to the Stadia Pro library, including: Cosmic Star Heroine, Nanotale - Typing Chronicles, Merek’s Market, One Hand Clapping and PHOGS!.

MotoGP 21 now available on Stadia and price reduction

The most realistic and immersive MotoGP videogame ever – at least since MotoGP 20 – is now available on Stadia for $49.99 CAD / $39.99 USD. Additionally, MotoGP 20 has been reduced in price to $39.99 CAD / $29.99 USD on the Stadia store.

Indie Game Sale now live for 40+ titles

More than 40 indie games are now on sale within the Stadia store, including Stadia exclusive Wavetale, the award-winning Spiritfarer, The Jackbox Party Pack 8 and Figment. 

With Stadia being free for anyone to access, every user can get deals of up to 75% off and Stadia Pro subscribers getting up to 85% off.

Risk of Rain 2 expansion coming Q2

Survivors of the Void is the newest expansion to Risk of Rain 2, the survival roguelike from Hopoo Games and Gearbox Publishing. The expansion includes new Survivors, levels, items, monsters, and more. Look for it on Stadia and console platforms in Q2 2022.
