The Addams Family has been around for a long time and are one of the most well known TV families. With the new release of The Addams Family 2 movie, it only seems fitting to get a game to compliment it. In August, Outright Games started publishing games on Stadia, which is great news for all gamers, as they have something for everyone.
I played The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem on PC, Phone, Tablet, and Television all thanks to the portability of Stadia. I have to say with the catalogue of games growing, it makes Stadia more appealing to others.

The Addams Family Mansion is in danger!
The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem has four player local co-op, you can choose from the following characters: Pugsley, Gomez, Morticia and Wednesday. I started off the game with Pugsley. The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is split into four worlds: The Dining Room, Graveyard, Music World, and Laboratory World.
Although each world looks different the concept is still the same. You explore, collect coins, kill enemies, and bump/jump over hazards. Having played several other Outright Games titles, it was finally nice to see they added enemies to a game to keep things interesting.
Keep in mind the intended audience when playing, however I think even adults would enjoy this game. The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem has a simple story that’s easy to follow. Someone wants to buy the mansion and it’s up to us the player to uncover the secrets of the mansion. The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem unfortunately has no voice acting the story is all through text which was kind of disappointing.
Mansion Mystery
As mentioned earlier, you have to unlock the secrets of the mansion in order to save the Addams Family's beloved home. I enjoyed the level design throughout The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem. Each level will have you jumping and dodging enemies and hazards. It’s amazing what one house can hold inside. Also, every so often after beating a level you unlock a minigame. In the minigames you are given a certain amount of time to collect as many of the objects as you can. I enjoyed the minigames and made sure to keep retrying until I beat the top score.
All in the Family
The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem features standard graphics, nothing that really stands out, but it does the job. I enjoyed playing with my family, working as a team to beat the levels. My kids enjoyed the game and had a great time. I recommend The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem for family game nights. Stadia makes it so easy to play anywhere with the speed of not having to wait for downloads. Perfect for busy families, this is another reason I love that Outright Games are making games for Stadia.
The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is perfect with it being not too spooky, but has some spooky elements. I played The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem with every character. It's unfortunate that there are no special moves or abilities; each character is exactly the same. I thought for sure each character would bring a unique feature to The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem.
Rinse and Repeat
After putting in some time in The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem, it starts to become repetitive with the scenery changing slightly. I did note however, the levels were a good length. Outright Games made a good decision to add enemies and a sword to kill them off, this adds a fun factor to the game.
Each world has the same feel to it, although the background is changed slightly.
The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is fun game to play with family and friends
Although The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem has some flaws, it is still worth a play—especially with family and friends. PHL Collective did a great job with The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem. Even with Outright Games releasing so many games in such a short time period they are still producing a decent product, which is good to see. I am excited for the upcoming games this holiday season from Outright Games.
Google Stadia has made gaming so easy for people that are on the go I can only see cloud gaming getting better as time goes on. Take your family and explore the mansion happy coin hunting.
