4Scarrs Gaming: NES Classic Edition

Riding high on the heels of Pokémon Go, from out of nowhere, Nintendo set the Internet on fire by announcing the release of the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition this past week. Essentially, a miniaturized NES that fits in the palm of your hand, and comes loaded with 30 of some of the best games from yesteryear.

Launching November 11th at a retail price of $79.99, the NES Classic Edition comes with an AC adaptor, an HDMI cable to hook directly up to your high-definition TV, and a super cool retro NES Classic Controller that is patterned after the original NES controller. Additionally, the NES Classic Edition supports the use of a second controller for two player games. Totally awesome! You can use a Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro, or the just-revealed NES Classic Controller, which retails for $12.99 to get in on 2-player fun.

For those wondering, the NES Classic Edition cannot play your old NES cartridges, go online, and does not have internal storage or external storage support. That being said, Nintendo has clarified that each game with have multiple suspend points, so you can pick up from the exact second you left off.
